Lakewood’s SummerFEST 2024 is the South Sound's not-to-be-missed summer celebration with something fun for everyone.

SummerFEST has it all: food trucks, beer gardens, live music, fire dancers, a pop-up skate park, a car show, a balloon glow, a drone show, and interactive sports and arts for all ages. If you’re coming in from out of town, reserve your hotel room in advance. Even if you’re a local, it’s a good idea to head to Fort Steilacoom Park early to nab the best free parking!

Parking & Shuttle

Fort Steilacoom Park
68714 87th Ave SW | Lakewood, WA

Drivers can access the park from the main entrance (87th Ave SW) or one of the temporary entrances on Elwood Dr SW. Off-site parking is available at Pierce College, Lot D. Shuttles run every 20 minutes.

Event Schedule

The SummerFEST schedule is subject to change from year to year, but a full day of live entertainment can always be anticipated! The 2023 SummerFEST schedule includes international performances, live music of a variety of genres, and even an extreme motocross show!

Every year at SummerFEST, it’s food trucks galore! With a day full of activities ahead of you, dozens of delectable food options keep you fueled. Lunch? Dinner? Dessert?

Bricks 4 Kidz

SummerFEST LEGO building contest

Does your child like to build with LEGO bricks? Students compete against other builders in their age group. All participants receive a $25 gift certificate to be used on Bricks 4 Kidz programming. First place winners in each age category receive large LEGO building sets. Cost to register is $10. Find the rules and register online.

Volleyball Tournament

Join the Reverse coed grass 4’s Madman Volleyball Tournament. Check-in begins at 8 a.m. Play will start as close to 9 a.m. as possible and runs to 6:30 p.m. Play includes reverse coed 4’s A and BB teams playing in a pool format followed by elimination rounds in multiple brackets. Cost is $120/team. There are prizes for top finishers in all brackets.
